pantsofleastresistance: Prounced? Is that a word? Sorry to be the language nerd, but this isn’t actually true. Those sounds are dictated by their placement in a word. Ghoti would not be “prounced” anything like “fish.” The only case where this would be true would be if it were a borrowed word from another language which managed to retain its original pronouciation, but I don’t think that kind of thing would survive long in Australia.
